Company Profile

Dependability
The design of our refractory tile, combined with our suspended construction techniques, are the most durable on the market.  In several instances, long-time customers have forgotten they have Detrick installations.  When no repairs are required for periods of five to ten years, it is easy to forget.

Versatility
We have supplied a broad range of enclosures:

  • With furnace volumes of a few hundred to many thousands of cubic feet.

  • With operating temperatures of 1000°F to well over 3000°F.

  • Utilizing fuels as conventional as oil and gas, and as diverse as coffee grounds and wood chips.

Facilities
To offer top quality service requires appropriate facilities.  Detrick supplies the necessary castings for our constructions.  The addition of our Computer Aided Design capability enhances the speed and performance of our engineers.  Our district offices in North America, together with our representatives abroad, are prepared to provide the correct enclosure for your heat handling need wherever you may be.

People
Our people are the business.  From engineers, salesmen and secretaries to erectors, our personnel make the difference.  Detrick remains the leader in the refractory engineering field.  Our reputation rests on the efforts of our people both past and present.

Communication
Detrick engineers and salesmen talk directly with your operating staff.  Every enclosure must function effectively not only on paper, but also on a day-to-day basis in your plant.  Finally, it is important you as well as our current and prospective customers know what we have to offer.  It is with this in mind that you find this information on your screen.
